Shihankaku (Assistant teacher) Class

Since Mari has received a Dai Shihan certificate in May 2013, Mari is now able to teach Shihankaku course up on the request. Please ask Mari for more details.

"I have known Mari for over 10 years--initially as the organizer for Tadao Yamaguchi's Jikiden Reiki seminars, but more recently as a Jikiden Reiki practitioner. Although I have access to local practitioners of various Reiki traditions, including Jikiden Reiki, I always choose to work with Mari even though I don't live close enough for in-person sessions. In my opinion, Mari truly embodies the spirit of Reiki in her actions and intentions, and my sessions with her have been invaluable.

Over the past two years, I have received 20 distant sessions from Mari to help me work through some challenges. During the sessions, I was able to feel the Reiki energy moving through my body--something that I initially doubted could be possible in a distant session even though I had studied Jikiden Reiki. In the days that followed a session, I would feel more balanced, focused, and at peace. I know that everyone's experience is different, so what I experienced may not be the same as what someone else experiences. All I know is that after my first session with Mari, I knew she was the right practitioner for me. I encourage anyone who is interested in experiencing Jikiden Reiki to try a session with Mari."

"To say that I was amazed is amazing. Mari, your knowledge, passion and teaching method is excellent. Thank you, Thank you."
~ Gary, Richmond 2009

"Dear Mari, This was great! Very well organized and professional class. I have learned so much and met great people in the class! I can't wait to learn the next level. You have found your passion and it is changing lives! in short, you are awesome. "
~ M Redford, Chilliwack, 2008

"I have just taken the Shoden level seminar with Mari and am very pleased and grateful. Not only did she explain everything clearly and naturally (in her second language, English), she was able to answer all of the questions from her students to our satisfaction. I would also like to note that I have received Reiki before, but Mari’s Reiki was especially potent. My physical reactions were very noticeable, and I could hardly believe that she had relieved the terrible neck/shoulder pain I’d been feeling all day. Finally, I want to say that Mari seems to be fully living the Gokai in her daily + family life. She is an excellent teacher and Reiki role model and mentor. "
